INDEED Projects works towards four strategic priorities: advancing gender equality, expanding lifelong learning opportunities for all, promoting mental health and wellbeing, and driving sustainable development. Each priority is linked to the European Youth Goals and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
To put these priorities into practice, we draw on five practical capabilities developed over years of youth work: human rights education, gender equality, economic empowerment, environmental awareness and digital literacy. These capabilities support our strategic priorities; they are not a separate structure of their own.
A project addressing gender equality, for example, may combine human-rights education with digital literacy to create safer online spaces for young women. A project on sustainable development may combine environmental awareness with economic empowerment through green entrepreneurship. The value lies in the connections between the priorities we pursue and the practical capabilities we bring to each project.
